Breakfast at hotel, then transfer to full day Angkor Tour visit: the South Gate of Angkor Thom, the last capital of Angkor Period (AD 802-1432) until the 15th century, was indeed a Great City as its name implied. Bayon Temple, one of the most popular sites in Angkor complex and over 200 large faces caved on the 54 towers, which at that time represents the 54 provinces in The Khmer Empire, give this temple its majestic character, visit Phimean Akas Temple, Bapoun Temple, Terrace of the Elephant, Terrace of Leper King, Royal enclosure, keep moving on to visit Ta Prohm Temple built in AD 1186 by King Jayavarman VII. Trunks of trees twist amongst stone pillars, and spread their gigantic roots over, under and in between the stones, probing walls and terraces apart, make this temple even more attractive. Afternoon, proceed to the World Heritage of Angkor Wat, one of the “Seven Wonders’ of the world”. In the evening we will take you to PHARE, the Cambodian circus was you will enjoy a 3 course dinner before the show. Overnight in Siem Reap, at your selected hotel
Breakfast at hotel. 08h00am: Meet with your guide. Transfer from the hotel to the foot of Kulen Mountain which takes 50 minutes. On arrival, get water in the cool box. Begin walking up the hill. The first 2km is uphill and rocky. After the 2km, the path is more flat. Water stop at Km2. Visit the River of Thousand Lingas lying under the river bed, people believe it brings fertility and blessing Angkor area as the river flows from Kulen to Siem Reap. Walk 700meters to visit the Grand Reclining Buddha. Kulen mountain remains the sacred place local people believes. From the Grand Reclining Buddha, walk another 500 meters to the water fall, where we enjoy swimming the 30 meters high water fall. Enjoy Lunch box. Afternoon, back to hotel and overnight.
Breakfast at hotel, transfer to Beng Mealea temple. Beng Mealea is an untouched temple hidden in the jungle surrounded by its mood 900 meters by 1,200 meters. Beng Mealea is a beautiful, charming temple. It has it own character which cannot be found in any other temple. We can feel very peaceful sitting inside the temple as we can get rid of the many tourists at Angkor area. Afternoon, you take a short 15km drive to Phnom Krom the large hill that looms closer, and enjoy a relaxing cruise on the on the Tonle Sap lake, the largest lake in South East Asia. You will see the traditional floating village of Chong Kneas and witness the residents going about their daily life – it is quite a sight seeing a whole bamboo village complete with homes, gas stations, schools, hair dressers, and even karaoke bars floating on a lake. On the way back to Siem Reap you will call in at Artisans d’Angkor, an interesting boutique workshop where you can observe young Cambodians learning traditional Khmer handicraft techniques, such as stone & wood carving, and lacquering & gilding – a great opportunity for last minute quality souvenirs. Back to town and the rest of time is free at your own leisure.

Breakfast at hotel, Breakfast at hotel, this morning you will learn about the dark side of Cambodia – its more recent turbulent and harrowing history. Initially you visit the Toul Sleng Genocide Museum (also known as S21), ironically a former school, located in a quiet Phnom Penh suburb, this was the infamous Khmer Rouge prison / torture centre. Once you have gained an initial insight of the brutality of the Khmer Rouge regime you will be driven 15km from Phnom Penh to visit the ‘Killing Fields’. This is where Toul Sleng prisoners were forcibly marched and then executed; it is now a memorial site located in a beautiful tranquil setting. You will return to Phnom Penh for lunch. Afternoon, Shopping at Russian Market (Psah Tuol Thom Pong), a lively outdoor market, where you can find antiquities, silver and gold jewelry, gems, silk, karmas, tone and wood caring, as well as T-Shirt, CDs and other nice souvenirs. Afterward, visit Wat Phnom Hill, the historical site of Phnom Penh city, founded in 1372. Independent Monument, inaugurated in 1958 to celebrate Cambodia’s independence from French rule and commemorate the soul of combatants who laid down their lives for freedom of the country. Royal Palace & Silver Pagodia (Royal Palace built in 1866 on the site of the former citadel, a crowning example of Cambodian architecture because it is the official residence of Khmer’s King. Silver Pagoda was named because of the 5000 silver tiles (each weighing 1kg) in the floor of the temple and displayed the holiest Buddha image in Cambodia, Preah Keo (the Emerald Buddha). Keep moving on to strolling along Chatomuk River bank, visit Preah AngChek Preah Ang Chom Buddhist Shrine, where the famous place for local people to pray, and believed that their wishes will become true by praying there.
